FAQ

Everything people ask

How much does house cleaning cost in Toronto?

Most Toronto condos land between $159 and $250 for a standard clean, and most houses between $250 and $400, depending on bedrooms, bathrooms and square footage. Deep cleans run about 1.5 times that, and move-out cleans about 1.65 times. Booking recurring visits takes 10–20% off every clean. The calculator on this page gives you the exact figure in about 30 seconds without asking for your email first.

Is the price I see the price I pay?

Yes. We quote flat, not hourly, and the price is locked before the team arrives. If a job takes longer than we estimated, that is our problem rather than your invoice. The only time you would hear from us about price is if the home is materially different from what was described at booking, and we call before starting rather than adding it to the bill afterwards.

Which areas of Toronto do you cover?

We cover Toronto, including downtown, Liberty Village, King West, Yorkville, The Annex, Leslieville, The Beaches, High Park and Roncesvalles, Yonge and Eglinton, North York, Scarborough and Etobicoke. Concentrating on the city keeps our travel time down and our scheduling reliable, and it means the cleaner arriving at your door has worked in buildings like yours before. If you are just outside and want to ask, call us and we will let you know.

Do I need to be home during the cleaning?

No, and most of our recurring customers are not. You can leave a key, a lockbox code, a fob and buzzer instructions, or arrange concierge access if you are in a condo. However you choose to handle access is recorded on your file, so you only explain it once.

How do I pay, and when?

You add a card when you book, but nothing is charged then. We invoice after the clean is done and you have had a chance to look around, and the card on file is charged automatically with a receipt emailed to you. On recurring plans you are billed per visit rather than upfront for a block, so there is nothing to claw back if you pause or stop. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never touch our servers.

Do you bring your own supplies and equipment?

Yes, everything: vacuums, microfibre, mops and products. Cloths are colour-coded so the cloth that touched a toilet never touches a kitchen counter. If you would prefer we use your own products because of an allergy, a stone counter or a preference for fragrance-free, leave them out and note it in your booking.

What is the difference between a standard clean and a deep clean?

A standard clean maintains a home that is already in reasonable shape. A deep clean resets one that is not, adding baseboards, door frames, inside the microwave, behind appliances, hard-water and soap-scum removal, cabinet degreasing, vents and window tracks. If you have not had a professional cleaner in the last three months, start with a deep clean and let standard cleans hold the line afterwards.

Will I get the same cleaner every time?

Yes, on recurring bookings. Your cleaner learns your home, your preferences and your access, which is the whole point. If they are sick or on holiday we tell you in advance and send someone briefed on your notes, rather than quietly swapping in a stranger.

What is your cancellation policy?

Reschedule or cancel free with at least 24 hours' notice. Inside 24 hours we charge 50%, because the slot has been held and the cleaner has already lost the day's alternative work. Lockouts, where we arrive and cannot get in, are treated the same way.

What if I am not happy with the clean?

Tell us within 24 hours and we come back and fix it at no charge. That is the whole guarantee, and there is no form to fill in. If a re-clean still does not get it right, we refund the visit.

Do you clean if I have pets?

Yes, and a large share of our customers do. Tell us what animals are in the home and whether they will be loose while we are there, so nobody accidentally lets a cat out the front door. Heavy pet hair is a small add-on because it genuinely takes longer, and we bring rubber rakes and a dedicated upholstery head for it.

How far in advance should I book?

For a regular clean, a few days is usually enough. For move-in and move-out cleans give us two weeks and more at month end, because Toronto leases overwhelmingly turn over on the first and the last three days of any month are the busiest slots we have.
