Where we clean
Where we clean across Toronto
Twelve areas, each with housing that behaves differently. Pick yours and we will tell you what we actually see in homes there.
- 01 Downtown Toronto From the Financial District to the Entertainment District, downtown is condo territory, and condo cleaning has its own rules.
- 02 Liberty Village Converted brick-and-beam lofts next to glass towers, a dog in half the units, and a lot of people who work from home.
- 03 King West Dense, new, and loud on weekends. King West units are lived in hard and turn over fast.
- 04 Yorkville High-end finishes, serious art on the walls, and a low tolerance for a cleaner who does not know what marble does when you put vinegar on it.
- 05 The Annex Big Victorian houses, a lot of stairs, original trim, and radiators that have been collecting dust since the Diefenbaker government.
- 06 Leslieville Narrow semis, young families, and a lot of half-renovated houses where the new kitchen meets the original floors.
- 07 The Beaches Sand gets everywhere, the dogs are enormous, and the houses are older than they look from the porch.
- 08 High Park & Roncesvalles Big old west-end houses with real hardwood, deep porches, and a park that puts leaves and pollen through the front door for half the year.
- 09 Yonge & Eglinton Midtown runs on a split: condo towers on the main corners, and quiet family streets two blocks in either direction.
- 10 North York Bigger homes, bigger families, and a lot of square footage per dollar compared with downtown.
- 11 Scarborough Family houses with real backyards, often housing more than one generation, and priced far better per square foot than anything downtown.
- 12 Etobicoke Two Etobicokes: the lakefront condo wall along Humber Bay, and the quiet detached streets inland.
